A simple cocoa laboratory was established last April 2018 at CIDAMI office located at JSF building, AlMaCen, Catalunan Pequeño, Davao City. This laboratory is established for training purposes particularly in training cacao producers and buyers how to do proper bean sampling for grading and identifying bean defects.
Topic presentation and hands-on on cocoa bean grading during CIDAMI’s Cacao Doctors/Production Training will be done in this laboratory. CIDAMI members are also welcome to use this laboratory. To date, two (2) CIDAMI members were able to use the laboratory in grading their cocoa beans.
